Metron vieressä metsämaisemallinen kolmannen kerroksen parvekkeellinen kaksio

Merihenkisestä keittiöstä ja makuuhuoneen ikkunoista avautuu ihana metsämaisema takapihan rinteeseen, jossa viihdyttävät vuorotellen pikkulinnut ja käpyjä rouskuttavat oravat. Peltopöllökin siellä on ainakin kerran istuskellut.

Murrettu keltainen olohuone on iso ja sitä valaisee upeasti melkein koko seinän kokoiset ikkunat kohti lasitettua parveketta ja etupihaa. Keittiössä on koko seinän kokoinen merellinen tapetti. Kattoja kiertää verho- ja ripustuslistat, jotka antavat mahtavat sisustusmahdollisuudet tekstiilien ja taulujen ripustamiseen.

Asunto on pohjois-eteläsuunnassa, eli parvekkeella voi nauttia auringonvalosta iltapäivästä iltaan vaikka riippumatossa, jonka kiinnikkeet seinistä löytyy valmiiksi. Itse olen käyttänyt hyväkseni myös parvekkeelle vedettyjä sähköjä tunnelmavalon luomiseen.

Kylpyhuone on kompakti, mutta sinne mahtuu kaikki oleellinen, myös asuntoon sinulle jäävä pesukoneeni. Koko asunnon pinta-ala 56,5 neliömetriä.

Alue on rauhallinen kukkulan päällä olevan sijaintinsa vuoksi, mutta hyvien yhteyksien päässä metron ja länsiväylän välissä. Metrolle ja lähikauppaan kävelee vauhdista riippuen 5-10min. Meren rantaan kävelee kivaa puron vartta pitkin kulkevaa polkua pitkin noin 20 minuuttia jätskille tai avantouimaan. Lähipellolle voi kävellä hiihtämään, pidemmät ladut löytyvät Espoon keskuspuistosta.

Autoileva espoolainen arvostaa myös ilmaista parkkipaikkamahdollisuutta.

Taloyhtiössä sauna ja askarteluhuone sekä ystävälliset naapurit, mutta ei hissiä. Valitettavasti ei kotieläimiä. Asunnossa tai parvekkeella ei saa tupakoida. Vuokrataan mukavalle vuokralaiselle kalustamattomana pitkäaikaisvuokralle.

Vuokra 950€/kk + vesimaksu 20€/hlö + oma sähkösopimus, koti- ja vastuuvakuutus vaaditaan ja luottotiedot tarkistetaan. Taloyhtiössä alkamassa ikkunaremontti, josta tulossa kevään tai kesän aikana urakoitsijan mukaan kokonaisuudessaan yhteensä kolmen päivän mittainen häiriö per asunto. Ei muita remontteja tiedossa lähivuosina. Putkiremontoitu ja asunnon täysremontti vuonna 2012, sen jälkeen pintaremontteja tehty.

Next to the metro, with a forest view: A two-room apartment with a balcony on the third floor

From the maritime-themed kitchen and the bedroom windows, there is a lovely view of the forested slope in the backyard, where small birds and cone-crunching squirrels take turns entertaining you over breakfast. Even a short-eared owl has been spotted sitting there at least once (=the one that looks like Hedwig from Harry Potter..).

The living room, painted in a golden yellow, is spacious and beautifully lit by nearly wall-sized windows facing the balcony with windows towards the front yard. The kitchen features a full-wall sailing ship wallpaper. Curtain and hanging rails run along the ceilings, offering great interior design possibilities for hanging textiles and artwork.

The apartment is oriented north-south, so you can enjoy the afternoon-to-evening sunlight on the balcony—even in a hammock, which can be easily hung using the ready-installed hooks in the walls. I have also made use of the balcony’s electric outlets to create cozy lighting.

The bathroom is compact but fits all the essentials, including my washing machine, which will remain in the apartment for your use. The total living space is 56.5 square meters.

The area is peaceful thanks to its hilltop location, yet conveniently located between the metro and Länsiväylä highway. It takes 5–10 minutes to walk to the metro and nearby grocery store. A pleasant 20-minute walk along a stream leads to the seashore for ice cream or winter swimming. A nearby field offers cross-country skiing, and longer ski tracks are available in Espoo Central Park.

Car owners will appreciate the free parking availability.

The building includes a sauna, a craft room, and friendly neighbors—but no elevator. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed. Smoking is not allowed in the apartment or on the balcony. The apartment is for rent unfurnished, for a long-term lease to a pleasant tenant.

Rent: €950/month + water fee €20/person + your own electricity contract. Home and liability insurance is required and credit history will be checked. The building is about to undergo a window renovation, which according to the contractor will cause disruptions lasting a total of three days per apartment sometime in the spring or summer. No other renovations are expected in the coming years. Plumbing renovation and a full apartment renovation were done in 2012, with additional surface renovations carried out since then.
